The Internet (4Chan, specifically) is trying to take over Time’s Person of the Year. While Time’s editors will select the POY, there’s also a ‘people’s choice’ award, and as you can see from the screengrab above, The Dear Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea  currently is way in the lead (almost 6x the margin of the second place vote-getter, Egypt’s president, Mohamed Morsi). I’ll be interested to see Time’s response. (via reddit)
