“What will it take for the Department of Justice to conduct an investigation into the NYPD policing practices?”

Jumaane Williams, in response to a police officer’s recent arrest.  (via azipaybarah)

DOJ Selects Citizant for $1.1 Billion ITSS-4 Contract »

From the press release (emphasis mine):

Citizant, a leader in full life-cycle IT solutions for the federal government, has been selected as a prime contractor on the Department of Justice’s new Information Technology Support Services-4 contract. The seven-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, with a ceiling value of $1.1 billion, is available to all DOJ components and other federal agencies to access a broad range of information technology services.

“ITSS-4 is a game-changing win for Citizant and a fantastic opportunity for us to create additional value for our customers within the DOJ,” said Paul Bize, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Citizant. “With our mission-focused experts, mature management infrastructure and team of world-class partners, Citizant can successfully support the entire enterprise system life cycle as required under this vehicle. We continue our focused efforts to hire employees with relevant IT experience and program knowledge who share Citizant’s commitment to delivering high-quality services to support the DOJ’s mission.”

Citizant was selected as one of 20 awardees on this multiple-award contract through full and open competition against the industry’s best and largest systems integrators. Citizant currently provides enterprise information technology life-cycle solutions to multiple DOJ components in support of mission-specific objectives.
